Member Legal Services has published a revised legal article, Short Sales (October 27, 2008). It is available on Legal's What's New and the Legal Articles pages on C.A.R. Online. This article has been revised to include a new Section III, Licensing Requirements of Short Sales (Questions 12 – 15). The new questions deal with the issue of short sale consultants and the rules on advance fees in the context of charging specific fees for services in short sales.
