Joel F. Block started his career in 1991, as a REALTOR® serving the Palos Verde & South Bay areas. In 1993, during the refinance boom, he began to originate mortgage loans, which led him into Wholesale, Correspondent, Secondary Market, and the Mortgage Banking lending side of Real Estate.
Joel has in production and/or in operation management worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Countrywide Home Loans, Fremont General, and the Provident Bank of Ohio. He previously co-owned a Mortgage Banking firm located in West Covina, which serviced all of the California and sold mortgage loans to secondary money-market and Wall Street Investors.
Joel currently is President and Corporate Broker of The BLOCK Group, which provides Real Estate, Investments, Mortgages & Insurance services.
Joel not only serves his company hands on, but continues to serve the Real Estate community by participating as an evening instructor for (ASMB) American School of Mortgage Banking. He also serves on other real estate committees such as: Local Government Relations; Young Professionals Network; Budget & Finance; Education; & Membership for (CVAR) Citrus Valley Association of REALTORS®. He also is a Board Member for the San Gabriel Chapter of (CAMB) California Association of Mortgage Brokers.
Joel and his family reside in the Inland Empire.
