In today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving real estate landscape, it’s easy to lose sight of the decisions being made on our behalf as REALTORS®. As a candidate for the CVAR Board of Directors, my mission is to bring our voice back to the forefront and ensure the needs of our members are prioritized at the association level. Through my active participation in REALTOR® Legislative Day at our State Capitol, I’ve witnessed firsthand what it takes to advocate effectively—for both our profession and the clients we serve. Being a REALTOR® is already a challenging job—we shouldn’t have to face additional obstacles created by decisions made without our input. One of my top priorities as a Board Member will be to champion education and awareness among our membership. Far too often, I’ve seen colleagues struggle due to a lack of knowledge regarding the Code of Ethics, CRMLS rules, and professional standards. This not only leads to unnecessary fines and violations but also undermines the integrity of our industry. My service on both the Professional Standards Committee and the Grievance Committee has given me clear insight into these issues—and the solutions. As REALTORS®, we are trusted with guiding people through one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives—the purchase or sale of their home. That trust demands competence, accountability, and a deep commitment to doing the right thing. Together, we can raise the bar for professionalism, advocate more effectively, and ensure every member has a seat at the table. Let’s move forward—stronger, more informed, and united. I would like to ask for your vote for CVAR Board of Directors.
